Dogs

I Love Dogs! This page is dedicated to the dogs in my life, past and present. Dogs have a special place in my heart. Science has discovered that part of the reason we are so attached to our furry companions is because we get a boost of the hormone oxytocin, the happiness hormone.

Although I do not have a dog of my own now, for the past 13 years I’ve had three very special pooches in my life, Rocky, Charlie and Lucy. Rocky and Charlie have crossed the “Rainbow Bridge” and Lucy is my current furry buddy. Even when I feel bad or down, a visit with Lucy always cheers me up. Most days I stop for a Lucy visit after work for either a walk or play and a snack.

Dogs love us unconditionally, they just want dinner, treats, attention and love. Also belly rubs and scratches behind the ears and squeaky toys. They are incredibly entertaining and do the funniest things. They don’t care what you look like, what you do for a living, and they don’t judge you. And most of all they are always happy to see you.
